Here are 3 men in our Great Starts Prenatal Class simulating the birth process. Lee is the rastafarian uterus. His job was to push the gigantic head of the plastic baby out of the knit uterus. He had to try several times.
The other 2 men held the plastic hip and something else I can't recall. The woman in red is our instructor who played the doctor assisting the birth.
The men did well and it only took about 5 minutes.
I was the uterus, the second guy had the pelvis, and the third guy was 'Perineum Man,' which will no doubt someday go on his resume.
ReplyDelete5 minutes of 'labor' was kind of a long time to be standing there pushing. I can't imagine 14 hours.
Did they give you an epidural? Looks painfully hilarious.
